Brivio Tutors ("we", "us") is a sole trader business that personally matches students with one-to-one online tutors. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law.

You don't need to share your child's full name or any sensitive details to start a conversation, and you don't need to share a diagnosis. If you choose to tell us about your child's learning needs, we only use it to find a suitable tutor.
Our enquiry forms are for parents and carers. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.
We don't sell your information. We share it only where needed to run the service:
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or UK-approved data transfer arrangements.
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a client, for as long as we need them to deliver and invoice lessons and to meet record-keeping obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry sooner, ask us.

Brivio Tutors personally matches students with one-to-one online tutors from KS2 to A-Level. We review the details you share, check for a suitable tutor, and discuss the suggested match, rate and any trial option with you before you decide whether to go ahead. There is no pressure to book.
All sessions are online, using Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, whichever your tutor prefers. You need a device and an internet connection.
Online tutoring costs between £25 and £60 per hour depending on the tutor and your requirements. We confirm the specific rate before you commit.
Some tutors offer a free introductory session. It isn't available with every tutor or subject, so ask us about the tutor we recommend and we'll confirm the terms before you decide.
If the first tutor isn't the right fit, contact us. A free rematch may be available. We'll explain the terms that apply and help you consider another suitable tutor.
If your tutor cancels a session, you receive a full refund for that session.
We invoice you for all upcoming sessions in the month ahead. Payment is due within the first week by bank transfer.
We review tutors' qualifications, experience and references, and check appropriate DBS status for the role. The details vary by tutor, so ask us about the specific tutor we recommend and about our safeguarding process.
